Spanish Wine Tasting

The Barcelona 3-day tour offers an opportunity for Spanish wine tasting and some highly informative talks on the subject from our experts.
You will sail from Barcelona to Sitges, a beautiful town to the south of Barcelona.
From
there, you will be taken to the historic vineyards of Torres, the fantastic cava house of
Freixenet and enjoy a visit to the famous boutique wine vineyard, Joan Leon.
There is also the option to extend the tour by one further day to take in the sights of
Barcelona.
Typical 3 day tour
Day 1: Embark the boat, introduction to
wine by wine guide, followed by dinner at
a local restaurant.
Day 2 – am: After breakfast on board,
sail to Sitges. Arrive in time for lunch on
board during which there will be a talk
about the Torres Vineyard by our wine
guide. Depart for Torres.
Day 2 – pm: Tour of Torres, including a
visit to the private museum with wine
tasting. Back on board a talk with our
expert about cava and designer wines,
and then dinner in a local restaurant.
Day 3 – am: Breakfast on board, followed
by a car ride to Freixenet where the tour
a trip to the extensive that are so
extensive, the only practical way to visit is
by train. After Freixenet, travel up to the
Joan Leon Vineyard, to enjoy a tour and
fine wine tasting with your wine guide.
Return to the boat and prepare to return
to Barcelona at 3.30pm.
Once in Barcelona, those staying an extra
night will dine at a local restaurant while
those returning to the UK will head to the
airport.
