Show ahoy - London's premier maritime event is back! The Sail, Power & Watersports Show returns to Earls Court from November 26-30, with hundreds of boats on display, live music and family entertainment. After the phenomenal success of last year’s event, with many reports of record sales, a host of new exhibitors have been attracted to this year’s great five-day event. There will be over 50 per cent more exhibitors than last year, and new brands on show will include Grand Soleil Yachts, Alerion Yachts, Santa Cruz Yachts, Bavaria Yachts, Azimut Motor Boats, Nimbus Motor Boats, Pursuit Motor Boats, Pedro Motor Boats, Animal RIBs, Goldfish RIBs, Bladerider Dinghies and Reeds Nautical Online Almanac. There will be a stunning welcoming display of boats in front of Earls Court’s entrance hall. Two Linetti sports boats from Gibbs Marine, Britain’s premier power dealership, will be the focus of attention for everyone arriving at this iconic event. Gibbs Marine will also be exhibiting a range of boats from Regal and FT Boats. Sailing enthusiasts will get the chance to beat the credit crunch at the used boat auction and there will be great deals available on chandlery equipment, dive equipment and holidays. Show organiser James Brooke says: “There's never been a better time to buy a boat. The build standard of modern yachts is extremely high, and never before has there been such a choice for customers looking to find their dream floating home. It doesn't matter how much money you've got in your pocket, there's something for everyone - from premier brands such as Oyster, Pearl, Cranchi, Azimut, Grand Soleil, Trader, J-Yachts, British Hunter Yachts, Nimbus, Pedro and Southerly Yachts through to our smallest boat on display, Heyland Marine's YAK at just £299. We created this show to be a marriage between exhibitors and visitors.” Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to win prizes in a great Christmas giveaway. Everyone will be able to enter the draw with a fabulous range of prizes on offer including sea kayaks, donated by BHG Marine, quadriplegic yachtsman Geoff Holt's new book Walking On Water and a handheld GPS chart plotter from Garmin. TV newsreader Katie Derham - herself a keen sailor - will host the opening of the show at 10am on November 26 and the Royal Marines Commando Display Team will perform a spectacular display.
