Arabesque Collection, Set for Two

Merdinger is a third generation jeweller and designer of luxury artefacts. His identity is shrouded in mystery, known only to a few close associates. Merdinger is quoted as saying: "It is not me that is interesting, but the message I bring to the world. The message of unity, friendship and peace is far more important than my individual identity and my products speak for themselves".

The Arabesque collection consists of stylish classical forms combining traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology. The collection includes: dinnerware, cutlery, stemware, coffee sets and tabletop accessories such as salt and pepper holders and candlesticks. An accompanying selection of giftware is also available.

All the products are made from the finest materials, 18 karat gold, titanium and bone china, using new and unique technologies. The design marries the old with the new, the East with the West and the physical with the spiritual, embodying the chain of continuity and symbolising peace and spiritual harmony.

Arabesque's complex patterns represent far more than just design and decoration. They are ancient geometric forms consisting of models taken from plant and animal life - nature's supreme mathematical code.

Cutting edge computer programming has captured this ancient form in binary codes, thereby fusing the old with the new. Without the use of modern technology, these products could never have been produced.

The tableware and accessories exhibits the complicated Arabesque design pattern throughout the entire range. This connecting theme unifies the design vision of the entire collection and creates an unrivalled visual display.

The products are a breath-taking creation of an amalgamation of 18 karat gold, titanium and bone china, with close to 50% real bone ash content. The crystal dinnerware is mouth blown, clean, clear and produced without toxics.
