Nowadays, the Dating Agency or Introductory Bureau is truly in vogue among the super rich.

Gone are the days where people with no looks, personality or confidence met in gloomy smokey filled hotels. Nowadays, the interviews can take place on any continent, in 5 star hotels or even aboard a cruiseliner or superjet.

This is because our lifestyles have changed.

In the age of the Internet and International travel, busy executives – both male and female – literally find themselves without time or geographical presence to meet a partner. They may be at a conference in New York in the morning and on their way to London or Paris by tea-time. They haven’t got time to meet, let alone get to know anyone.

Even when they arrive in London or Paris they may only be there for a few hours before having to move onto a different destination – hence the lack of geographical presence – they simply aren’t in the same place for long enough to get to know anyone.

You could says it is simply ‘outsourcing’ the first part of the dating ritual to trained professionals who know how to analyse, and psychoanalyse potential partners before  getting on with the real business of ‘Falling in Love’

There are literally thousands of Russian or Eastern beauties who would love to marry a Western Millionaire. But how many are truly looking for love and how many are gold diggers who simply want a Green Card and a quick divorce?
