US$12.5 million racing series announced as Asian Mile Challenge

Open to horses from around the world, the Asian Mile Challenge will begin in March with the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne (prize money approx 600,000 USD) before continuing to the The Dubai Duty Free at Nad Al Sheba in Dubai (prize money approx 5 million USD), then The Champions Mile at  Sha Tin in Hong Kong (prize money approx 1,030,000 USD) and concluding with the The Yasuda Kinen at Fuchu Racecourse in Japan in June (prize money approx 1,900,000 USD).

Collective prize-money for the four races totals approximately US$8,600,000 however a bonus structure has been put in place to further reward those willing to take on the challenge and travel their horses.

A bonus of US$4,000,000 will be paid should a horse win all four races in the Asian Mile Challenge, US$2,000,000 will be paid for three wins and US$1,000,000 for any two wins.
