Pure Spain is a website-based Spanish lifestyle company that offers a range of gourmet food, fine wine and home/lifestyle products, as well as a selection of gifts and hampers for every occasion.

The objective of the company, which was launched in 2005, was to create a website that sold Spanish products that were not available in the UK and to offer the British market a touch of the authentic Spain. Where possible the food products carry the prestigious Denominacion de Origen (D.O.) marque. If a product has a D.O. it guarantees that the product is not only authentic, but also that it uses the best ingredients and that therefore it will have a superior quality and flavour.

The site expanded to offer traditional pottery, homeware and a very popular selection of perfumery /bath products for children and adults. Pure Spain is an organic project and the product range is continually being updated - a recent trip to Spain has added some fabulous hand-painted ceramic sinks, top quality saffron (‘spansh gold’) from La Mancha and a new selection of charcuterie.

For the real hispanophile, Pure Spain has sourced, exclusively for Christmas, a superb whole leg of Jamon Serrano de Recebo from a small producer in Salamanca. It is shipped direct from Spain and includes a jamonero (a ham stand) and a special ham knife to carve with.

As well as food, there is also a lovely range of traditional Spanish ceramics, all hand-painted at a small pottery just outside Granada. The range includes bowls – both large and small, serving platters and great tile trivets.
