Scottish born designer Johnathan Saunders started his own luxury fashion label in 2003. He began his training in Glasgow, graduating in 1999 with a BA in Printed Textiles and then went on to gain an MA with Distinction in printed textiles at St Martin's, London in 2002. From his training he gained the skills for which he is now know for "textile colour and print design".

Johnathan Saunders uses tradtional silk screening techniques, developing prints around pattern pieces, making each garment totally unique in design. Saunders uses up to twenty silk screens per design and will have as many as twenty prints within one collection.

Thus his pieces are unique in design and colour creating a visually exciting collection. Since 2008, Saunders’s has shown his collections during New York Fashion Week, a departure from his native home of London. Autumn 2009 has seen him return to London, showing his 2010 collection at London Fashion Week.
