London Fashion Week with a spectacular line-up of shows including Stella McCartney's London Fashion Week catwalk debut with sportswear giant Adidas, on Thursday evening, puts London firmly on the fashion hot spot map this week.

Today, Tuesday 18th, the  Victoria & Albert Museum's  celebrates the opening of its exhibition, "The Golden Age of Couture Paris and London, 1947-1957" with a fashion gala.
