The Top Fashion Cities of 2007 have been named by the Global Language Monitor in its annual global survey.

Topping the list for 2007 are New York, Rome, Paris, London, Milan, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Singapore.

The Temperley London label was officially launched at London Fashion Week in September 2000 and has subsequently grown to become a highly desirable brand with global recognition. Temperley owns three stand alone stores in London, New York and Los Angeles.

Betty Jackson was born in Bacup, Lancashire in 1949 and since then has gone on to become an internationally renowned fashion designer.

After studying for a degree in fashion and textiles at Birmingham College of Art her career went from strength to strength.

Joe Casely-Hayford was born in Ghana in 1956. His family moved to London when he was a child. He worked as an apprentice to a Savile Row tailor before enrolling at the Tailor and Cutter Academy in 1974. In 1975, he joined Central St. Martin's School of Art, for a one-year History of Art course.

Joe then joined the music industry and became well-known as a designer of clothing for rock groups. Demand for his clothes off-stage resulted in freelance contracts as well as commissions for costumes for both theatre and film. In 1992, he dressed U2 for their world tour.

Canterbury have exploded into the world of fashion with a stylish range of casual clothing that embodies casual cool.
