For the first time in over 100 years dunhill have allowed the general public a sneak preview of the hand crafting process used to create their luxury Tradition leather goods, in particular the re-mastered Double Document case. The movie (below) showcases a Tradition Double Document case being cut from the best quality bridle leather, being hand stitched, and then finished by a highly skilled leather artisan. The same processes were employed by dunhill’s master craftsmen over 100 years ago when Alfred Dunhill converted his father’s saddlery business into a motoring accessories emporium selling amongst its wares, leather driving jackets and luggage. |
