The Royal Automobile Club's annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run is the world's longest running motoring event. It attracts entrants from all over the globe and for the owners of these highly valuable Veteran cars it represents a rare opportunity to take their extraordinary automobiles on the 60 mile run from Hyde Park in central London to the seafront on the Sussex resort of Brighton.Few events in today's international calendar like the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run can claim such individuality, personality and character as around 500 fine examples of pre 1905 manufacture demonstrate their early engineering ability. Royalty and personalities from the world of television, stage, music and sport often participate on the annual run which takes place on the first Sunday in each November and this website aims to provide detailed background and current event information for both spectators and participants alike.
