Bahrain National Museum
Over 7,000 years of Bahrain's history is explored through
ceramics, sculpture, calligraphy and illuminated Korans. Dhow boat-building,
traditional Bahraini houses and a 4,000 year-old burial mound are also
on display. Closed Mondays
Beit Al Quaršan

This museum houses internationally celebrated collectiosn
of historic Quranic manuscripts from various parts of the Islamic world,
from China to the East to Spain in the West, representing a progression
of calligraphic traditions from the first century of the Islamic era to
the present day.
