Awards and Memberships

Bill is a member of several leading portraiture societies.
The Royal Society of Miniature Painters, The Miniature Artists of America, and The Minature Art Society of Florida.
Awards include the Royal Miniature Society Gold Memorial Bowl, the world's most important award to miniature portrait painters. This award is judged by the President of the society and two advising judges invited from among recognised experts in miniature art from around the world.
The HS Bell Award for Portraiture (3 times), Best of Show and Best Portrait at the MASF. He also won the Exhibit of the Year (twice) at The Royal Academy in London.

Bill Mundys sitters have included: HM King Bhumipol Aduladej of Thailand, HRH The Sultan of Johor in Malaysia, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Sultan of Oman, Sir David Money-Coutts, Sir Peter Saunders, Spike Milligan, Rolf Harris, HM The Queen's Bargemaster, Vince Hill, General Sir Patrick Palmer KCVO, as well as numerous other personalities.
He was commissioned to paint an equestrian portrait for HM Queen Elizabeth in 1999.
