Daniel Cullen Charcoal & Chalk Figure Studies... Daniel Cullen is a professional artist working from a studio in Nottingham. However, he has never attempted to publish his own work until quite recently. He's been drawing since he was a child - his mother is a sculptor with a studio in her home. You could say that art is in his blood. He works mainly with charcoal, carbon and chalk on heavy, acid-free paper, often with a wash of watercolour beneath the drawing to add body. Figure studies have been central to his work and he uses his medium to recreate a certain mood or atmosphere or capture a particular moment. This young artist is certain to be discovered by the wider art community before long. The technical skill in what he draws is incredible. You should try to own an original while you still can...
